I’ll admit, I was surprised to learn that there were professionals interested in the PMP Certification online in Bangladesh. While it is a close neighbor of India and Pakistan, the fact is that it’s not as economically developed as the former countries. The most I know of Bangladesh is that it’s an up and coming force in world cricket.
However, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t ambitious, smart people in Bangladesh who want to up the ante and get paid more for their expertise and skill in running projects. That’s why in this blog, I’m reaching out and helping my Bangladeshi colleagues with a hand up, helping them locate the best resources for powering up their management careers. Let’s dive straight in.
Project Management Institute Chapter in Bangladesh
Firstly, for all things Project Management Institute related, you can visit the PMI Bangladesh chapter website. Here you can learn about fees, renewing your PMP, events and other ways to get involved in the area.
This can be of great importance when it comes to community functions and ways for you to give back to the PMI for the purposes of maintaining your PMP Certification (minimum 25 hours given to returning favor to the industry)
PMP Certification Training in Dhaka: 3 Prestigious Institutions To Help You Get 35 Hours
The rest of this blog will be looking into a few of the top institutions in the biggest city in Bangladesh that can arm you with the knowledge to pass the PMP exam.
Global Skills Development Agency (4.8/5 ⭐️, 261 reviews)
GlobalSkills is a collection of courses that have been professionally recorded locally by professionals skilled in the areas they teach in. For the Project Management Professional Certification, this is done by Samsuddin Rana, who mentions that he has 15+ years of experience in the project management space. The duration of the course is under 10 hours, but collectively, the course is supposed cover the 35 PDUs required to renew the PMP.
New Horizons (4/5 ⭐️, 99 Reviews)
This is another provider based out of Dhaka. They actually have courses that cover many different areas, many IT development related. Project Management via the PMP Certification doesn’t seem like their core competency. Having said that, they do appear to have a thorough syllabus for what you have to study (which you can see from their website link above) and they also have classes guaranteed to run remotely online. You don’t have to go into their classrooms to study.
3P Consulting (4.9/5 ⭐️, 75 Reviews)
Don’t let the sparse website fool you, 3P is one of the higher rated PMP Certification schools located here in Dhaka. While it has been operating as a shorter time frame than some of the other schools, it’s got by the the highest star ratings from some of the other institutions that I’ve mentioned above, or that you can find through Google.
The instruction is Mr Foyezur Rahman, an engineer by trade, so if you’re a project manager also in engineering, there’s a good chance you can learn some industry specific knowledge from this instructor that you might not get from other schools. The training is also offered online.
There are more schools available, but these three are the cream of the crop. If you’ve been working for a while now and are looking to get a boost in your career, apply for the PMP, see if you qualify for the exam, then do the course at one of these schools. A better title and higher pay await you!
