When people think about the commercial development powerhouses of South Asia, the uninformed only think about India. While it’s much larger in its output, that doesn’t mean that its neighbour in Pakistan doesn’t produce value. There are number of large conglomerates in Pakistan that bring in billions in USD revenue yearly: Nishat Group, Fauji Foundation, House of Habib and the like. Then there are banks, oil companies, textiles and construction companies that also boost this country’s GDP?
You? You’re an up-and-coming project manager, probably working for these large companies. You’ve fought your way through the hierarchies above you and constantly pushing to the next level. After five or so years of working as a project manager, impressing your managers at your operational and strategic acumen, you have been advised that to take the next step, you have to be officially certified by the PMI. Of the certifications the PMI offers, the gold standard is the PMP certification online.
I’m glad you found this blog post, because in it I’ll try to help you find some third party training institutes that can help you study and get the knowledge you need to pass this exam.
PMP Certification In Karachi
One of the largest cities in Pakistan, Karachi has numerous educational institutions to assist you in getting the requisite knowledge for the PMP. There are numerous online-only institutions but one of the few training organisations in Karachi that offers face-to-face education is Wayne Management Institute.
For those who like the personal touch and to interact with local leaders, also qualified as PMPs, Wayne is a solid choice. As their hours say they’re available 24 hours a day, this might mean that they also allow you to take their course material in a self-paced manner too. While they don’t have pricing on their website, they do have a form through which you can submit an inquiry online.
PMP Certification In Pakistan Islamabad
Omni Academy is one of few providers based in the capital city of Islamabad, Pakistan. They offer the popular bootcamp style certification training, running for 4-5 days and covering the requisite 35 hours to satisfy the PMI’s prerequisites before being able to undertake the exam.
Unlike other providers, they do list the price of this bootcamp as being 40,000 Rs. It might be expensive for some, but if it does result in your promotion or salary increase where you work, there’s a positive ROI to be had. Click above to learn more about their next intakes.
PMP Certification In Pakistan Lahore
IT Height is the last on the list here as a provider of PMP Certification training in Lahore. In actual fact, they provide live training sessions but will take students from all over the country, including Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi and other cities where students might be studying from.
Shahid Naseer is the lead training at IT Height. A qualified PMP himself, he’s been delivering classes for an extended period of time now. His experience in the IT field can particularly help those who also work within project management in the Information Technology space. To get an intro into who he is, click on the link above and watch the video.
No matter where you’re based in Pakistan, be it the large cities or somewhere further out, you should have the opportunity to level up your project management career. The PMP is a great way to upskill and gain more respect from your peers and employers. If you have any questions about where you might study, reach out. I’m happy to help where I can!
